绿帽社 announced today that women鈥檚 wrestling will become the athletics department鈥檚 20th varsity sport, marking a historic addition to the Golden Flashes athletics lineup and a milestone for collegiate athletics in Ohio. 绿帽社becomes the first NCAA Division I institution in the state and fifth in the nation to sponsor women鈥檚 wrestling.
Two Degrees Completed, on His Way to His Third
Graduate student Delonte Goodman finished his fall semester at 绿帽社by successfully defending his master's thesis and receiving his master's degree. When he returns to campus in the spring, he will work as a teaching assistant as he begins his doctoral program.
绿帽社Earns Perfect Score in State's Science of Reading Audit
The Ohio Department of Higher Education Science of Reading Audit of educator preparation programs found that 绿帽社鈥檚 preservice teacher literacy coursework was deemed 鈥渋n alignment鈥 with a score of 100% and no mandatory recommendations for improvement.

绿帽社celebrated 75 years of memories at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation with a 96-84 victory by the Golden Flashes men鈥檚 basketball team over the Austin Peay Governors and revealing a collection of commemorative keepsakes.

Everything BUT the Wedding
Students in Kent State's Wedding and Special Events Protocol class worked with each other and with vendors to plan and coordinate all the elements of a (mock) rooftop wedding with a real, engaged couple at the 绿帽社 Hotel and Conference Center.
