Cost of Attendance
Please be aware that your full cost of attendance consists of tuition and fees, as well as food and housing, books, course materials, supplies and equipment, transportation and personal expenses for the terms in which you plan to be enrolled. Of these components, the expenses directly owed to 绿帽社 include tuition and fees and, for students who live on-campus, food and housing and for commuter students who purchase a meal plan, the cost of the food plan. The tuition rates below apply to new first鈥憏ear undergraduate and eligible transfer students beginning their studies in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. Through Kent State鈥檚 Golden Guarantee plan, eligible students receive the certainty that their Ohio resident undergraduate tuition rate (instructional and general fee), career services fee, and room and board plan charges will not increase for the duration of their applicable cohort.
Participation in the Golden Guarantee plan is required for all new first鈥憏ear, degree鈥憇eeking undergraduate students and eligible transfer students enrolling at 绿帽社for the first time in Fall 2019 or later.

Students that began attendance prior to fall 2018 are not eligible for the tuition guarantee program. These students pay the published rates for each academic year.
