Jerry M. Lewis, ÂÌñÉçProfessor Emeritus and Tireless May 4 Advocate, Dies at 88

Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., ÂÌñÉç Professor Emeritus of Sociology, who served as a faculty marshal during the May 4, 1970, campus shootings and later worked tirelessly to ensure that the legacy of May 4 would endure, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, at his home in Maine. He was 88.

Courtroom Ready: Mock Trial Team Takes the Stand

The ÂÌñÉç Mock Trial Team has only six months to learn about a fictional case before acting it out during its competition season. The team will head to Penn State University in mid-February to compete in the Regional Competition. These local and regional experiences provide students with the opportunity to test their skills against the best in the country while gaining a broader perspective on the legal field.
