In their research, David Costello, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, and his team looked at how particles that emerge from the traction between tires and the road have flowed into some of the water sources on the Kent campus.
Exploring the Role of Brain Hormones in Development
鈥淥ur most recent work has focused on how oxytocin and vasopressin might contribute to brain development,鈥 Caldwell said. 鈥淪pecifically, the brain structures that are important for 鈥榤aleness鈥 and 鈥榝emaleness鈥 and the subsequent sex-specific behaviors that these brain regions regulate.鈥
