Military Friendly is the military ratings division of Victory Media, a service-disabled, veteran-owned business that also publishes G.I. Jobs庐, STEM Jobs, Military Spouse and Vetrepreneur庐. Military Friendly rates companies and colleges on their programs to recruit and retain military veterans as employees and students. On Monday, November 13, 2017, the 绿帽社College of Arts and Sciences and Office of Global Education hosted the MISSION: LIFE VI international innovation competition, focused on bringing together interdisciplinary teams to address major world problems. The 绿帽社team, whose idea focused on diverting food waste from the landfill stream and converting it into electricity, won the 鈥淧eople鈥檚 Choice鈥 award, after over 300 people visited the three exhibits and voted for their favorite.
