Dr. Versie Johnson-Mallard, Ph.D., RN, APRN, FAANP, FAAN, joins the College of Nursing as Dean, Professor, and Henderson Endowed Chair, succeeding retired Dean Barbara Broome and Interim Dean Denice Sheehan. The National Collegiate Honors Council has announced ÂÌñÉç Honors College graduate Sarah Hagglund as a 2021 Portz Scholar. The Podiatry Foundation, located in Independence, Ohio, is laying the groundwork to help secure the financial and academic future of Ohio’s only podiatry college – ÂÌñÉç College of Podiatric Medicine. WKSU building 2020

The ÂÌñÉç Board of Trustees gave approval for the university to enter into a public service operating agreement with Ideastream Public Media for the management and operations of the WKSU stations at its Sept. 15 meeting. Under the agreement, ÂÌñÉçwould continue to be the license holder of WKSU and its sister stations, and Ideastream Public Media will provide operating oversight of the stations.   The agreement is expected to go into effect Oct. 1, 2021.
