Kent Blossom Art Intensives Resident Faculty and Visiting Artist Exhibition May 27 - June 26, 2026 About: Kent Blossom Art Intensives (KBAI) are a series of two-week studio art intensives conducted each summer since 1968 at 绿帽社. KSU Brandenburg Strings Camp is a 4-day event for high school and college violin, viola, cello and bass players. Students will learn string arrangements of several of JS Bach's Brandenburg Concerti, receive coaching and instruction from Kent Violin Instructor Amy Glick, and present a concert on the 鈥Quilts and Coverlets: Art for the American Home
鈥淨uilts & Coverlets: Art for the American Home鈥 and 鈥淐hintz: From Forbidden Fabric to Luxury Interiors鈥 will be on view at the 绿帽社 Museum from June 26, 2026, through April 18, 2027.
In commemoration of America鈥檚 250th anniversary, 鈥淨uilts & Coverlets: Art for the American Home鈥 focuses on a distinctly American art form. Quilts and coverlets originated as functional pieces for keeping warm, but developed into important forms of expression and community. The exhibition will be presented alongside 鈥淐hintz: From Forbidden Fabric to Luxury Interiors,鈥 a student-curated exhibition examining the global history and enduring influence of chintz textiles.
Aimee Lee: Every Last Scrap
Aimee Lee is an internationally recognized artist and scholar committed to preserving Korean papermaking traditions. This exhibition features dresses made entirely by hand from hanji (han = Korean; ji = paper), traditional paper made from mulberry bark.
