Each month, a new episode is released that focuses on issues affecting higher education institutions.
This monthâs episode, aptly titled features Mussi Augusto and Ed Butch, the host of this episode, elaborating on how international partnerships and global engagement positively impact both the university and community.
âWe need to expose our students to different things,â Mussi Augusto told Butch on the podcast. âWe need to create a better global footprint.â
In the episode, Mussi Augusto and Butch discuss the creation of the American Academy.
â[It's] a two-year liberal arts program and a partnership between ÂÌñÉçand the Pontifical Catholic University in ParanĂĄ, Brazil,â Butch explained.
The episode discussed why global engagement matters, what makes partnership successful and the lessons learned from building a program designed to expand access and opportunity across borders.
âI saw that we need to connect with a broader landscape of whatâs happening [and] whatâs going on with other universities,â Mussi Augusto told Butch.
