Hello Residents,

We hope you are having a great spring semester! We want to start preparing you for spring check out. The residence halls close for the spring semester at 5:00pm on Saturday, May 9th.  

If you need to stay on campus past 5:00pm on May 9th, you will need to complete the Late Stay Request Form via your . The Late Stay request form is open until May 7th. Late stay requests will only be granted until 12pm on Sunday, May 10th. Any requests after 12pm on Sunday, May 10th, you will need to request summer housing: .  

Things you can do now to prepare for moving out:

• Begin tidying up your room. Start throwing things out and cleaning out drawers!  
• Talk to family and friends about your move-out date to plan ahead of time, such as when you will be picked up
• Update your mailing addresses for Amazon and subscriptions to your permanent address beginning mid-April. (University Housing will not accept packages for you once you have moved out; these will be returned to the sender)
• Have a plan for picking up your bike if it is located on campus
• Be on the lookout for closing information posted in your hall and from your Residence Hall Director or Assistant Residence Hall Director

When you are ready to checkout (have emptied your room of all belongings and completed the resident checklist), please scan one of the QR codes or visit your  to complete the self-checkout process. Doing this before you leave campus ensures that you are not charged a $25 improper checkout fee.
